We just got back from camping at letchworth valley campground & resort and it was such an amazing weekend! We got to take the paddle boat out a few times, rode our bikes all over the place multiple times, went fishing, and we saw a bald eagle! Our dog boomer also had a blast running around and making new friends. The staff was very nice and friendly and brought us wood a few times.
We hosted our camping retreat at this newly established business. From check in on day one until check out on day 3, the owner and employees were friendly, helpful and ensured we were not in need of anything. The campground was very well maintained, the washrooms were well cleaned, and the views of the lake were amazing. Our sites were rustic but still provides the amenities close so you could enjoy the stay. The lake was perfect for hours of kayaking and SUPing along with the water slide into the lake! The common area after horses, teetherball, swings and a basketball court. There is a beautiful hiking trail around the whole lake that's perfect for biking, hiking or even a trail run. We are beyond pleased with our decision to host our tent camping retreat here and look forward to hosting many more retreat here!
Beautiful place. Very close to Letchworth State Park. We were there late in the season so it was fairly quiet at the campground. Facilities were clean and very well maintained. Would definitely return.
This was our first visit to Letchworth Valley! We had a wonderful time! This place has everything, including it’s own lake and creek that feeds it! Tons of activities and a beautiful setting. We were there for Bills weekend and had a great time at the Bills watch party they hosted in their big, beautiful pavilion . We stayed in an RV spot with water and electric, though they also have boondocking and rustic tents sites, many overlooking the water. Owners are new and have many more plans for making the campground even MORE of a destination than it already is! We will be going back.
This campground is amazing! It is so peaceful and very clean. You can tell that the Owner and his Employees take a lot of pride in their hard work. Each site is unique and peaceful and has a lot of space. Definitely not a cookie cutter campground that’s for sure. The Lake is so beautiful throughout the day.
The huge water slide is not just for kids, Grownups love it too. If you love to fish, this is the place. There are some big fish in that lake and also coming down the stream for Trout. If you love to get outside and exercise there are really nice hiking trails and bike trails. The main Lodge is very nice and would be a great place for a party and weddings.
I love love camping here. Each time I come camping they have done something to make it even a greater place to camp. I can’t wait to see the campground next year because the Owner and his fantastic crew will be doing more upgrades. This is truly a piece of Heaven. Nature is all over and you get to even see a big bald eagle and the nest. If your a bird watcher come see for yourself
The leaves are now turning their beautiful different shade of Fall. I am glad I came back to see all this beauty.
