Calypso Cove RV Park, located in scenic Freeport Florida on the Choctawhatchee Bay, features a tropical setting amongst the palm trees where you can unwind and take in the scenery. Just a short drive to PCB, Santa Rosa, Blue Mountain, and Desitin Beaches.
Right off of 331 South, on the northbound side approximately 1 mile north of the bay.
Wonderful place to setup. RV park is clean and very well maintained. Neighbors are welcoming friendly people You never have to worry about your belongings!!! My husbands big expensive Yeti coolers sitting outside were still there when we return from a week trip back Home! We just can’t say enough good things about this park. We were actually saddened when my husband was spur of the moment transferred to Pensacola Beach. The office was actually closed the day we had to pick up and leave but the very next morning they called me concerned that our lot was empty wanted to make sure everything was OK and mailed our remaining deposit to our home address which was unexpected. If ever in Panama City area we will definitely return😘
Dont waste your time! While they did return a call and explain their rules and regulations! I stress rules, and regulations. They ask you to take pictures of your RV. After you waste your time jumping through the hoops, and you didn’t waste your time they wasted your time, they call back after you sent beautiful pictures of your RV and say NO management says NO. Really. My RV is stunning and it’s rated as one of the top 10 Winnebago’s in the country for the year it was built. She asked me if I have a dog I said yes he’s a service dog certified with papers for seizure alert for my son. After asking me about the dog three times she wanted to know what breed he was. I told her he’s a mixed breed black lab and he’s a service dog with certified papers. Once again she asked me what are the other breeds?? Are you kidding me, she obviously has no knowledge of the Americans with disability act. That was her first violation.. do not waste your time with these ignorant people.
Family went down for vacation and after paying full amount to stay they are being kicked out because my uncle who owns built his own Camper is not a qualified (RV) because it doesn't have a mandatory sticker that was not mentioned during time of deposit. Don't waster your money or your time when there are so many other campgrounds that care about there guests.
