I loved the location and the overall look of the lodge itself. The rooms were nice, but they do need to be updated. They have some nice fire pits. They were very comfortable sitting around at night. That was very nice. The room walls definitely need to be thicker. I could hear everything going on in the next room...
This lodge is really nice. Check-in was easy and quick. The staff was very nice and helpful. Requested extra towels and washcloths and staff delivered them within 10 min. Room was very clean and spacious. The mattress was too firm and one half was very squeaky. The biggest problem was the air conditioning unit faces directly at the bed. Had to put furniture in front of it so it didn't blow directly on us. Overall would recommend again.
We had a wonderful trip here! We came for a wedding, which was a great time, and decided to stay an extra night and so glad we did! Maria who valeted us to and from the resorts other areas was AWESOME! She always had a positive demeanor and made our trip that much more special! Alex at the game changer bar was also great. Can’t say enough nice things about the service. We will be back!
Pros: The lodge is impressive looking from the entrance. The foyer is very nice. It looks like a regal lodge from the second you walk in. Check in was smooth.
Cons: The carpeted halls are worn and dated. The food is below average. EVERYTHING is an extra cost and highly priced. My biggest complaint is the front desk clerk, Kevin. Condescending, rude, talks down to customers, argumentative, and acts as though he is better than those he is serving. We were having a great time until we encountered Kevin. Because of that AWFUL experience I will NEVER be back. We were going to return with our children for a weekend of fun, but I will NOT spend $1,000-$2,000 for a weekend to deal with Kevin.
I am thrilled to share my glowing 5-star review of Lanier Islands Legacy Lodge. Our stay in the King Villa Suite was nothing short of extraordinary. The suite exuded romance with its luxurious amenities, including a spacious walk-in shower and a decadent soaking tub—perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure.
Speaking of adventure, Snow Island's snow tubing was an absolute highlight of our trip. The exhilaration and pure fun of speeding down the snow-covered slopes left us with unforgettable memories.
Now, let's talk about dining. Sidney's Restaurant truly exceeded our expectations, with culinary creations worthy of a Michelin star. Each dish was a work of art, tantalizing our taste buds and satisfying our cravings.
And who could forget The Game Changer? This lively spot not only served up fantastic drinks but also provided the opportunity to test our skills at axe throwing—a thrilling experience that added an extra layer of excitement to our stay.
But perhaps the most exceptional aspect of our time at Lanier Islands Legacy Lodge was the impeccable service we received from every member of the staff. From the moment we arrived until the moment we reluctantly said goodbye, we were treated with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care.
In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Lanier Islands Legacy Lodge to anyone seeking a luxurious and unforgettable getaway. With its stunning accommodations, thrilling activities, exquisite dining options, and top-notch service, this resort truly delivers an unparalleled experience.
