Loved this place and the PEACE. Could kayak outside my cabin door ! No bugs when i was there in mid June. Hope to return in 2020. I did have an issue with the TINY hot water tank in the studio cabin. Not enough water to shower and wash my hair. Very inconvenient but I made due.
Very very disappointing trip to Lake Shore Lodge.
I believe they are under new management and the place is going downhill. From bat Infestation in cabins to, broken toilets in cabins to bugs imbedded in the linens on the beds so bad that you couldn’t use the blankets or pillows.
Their customer service in helping resolve the problem was horrible. Perhaps they are embarrassed by all the negative feedback by multiple people in our group of 25+. I wish I could share with you a video of the bugs. And to spend close $500 for the minimum 3 day cabin stay you’d think they would compensate a bit. I would not recommend. Oh yeah , and the swimmers itch 2 maybe 3 years in a row for our crew. We will be looking for a new place to spend our annual gathering
Terrible terrible terrible! Don’t do it. Don’t waist your money or time here. Manager is very rude. We have traveled all over Montana and he was by far the worst. The office was closed when we arrived. We found our spot and it was too small for our camper. Half of the MOBILE Park (Not RV Resort) had full time residents. The park was run down as well. RVs were stacked/Crammed right next to one another with no Pads and no organization. With no one to ask about it, we finally left. We found a beautiful free State camping spot on the lake nearby without hookups. The manager finally called us back and he would not let us get a word in. He was rude, had a really bad temper snd insisted our Camper would somehow fit. He refused to refund us, so we took the 3 NIGHT Minimum hit. The photos are not what they seem at all. This place is a dump. Do not waist your time.
Oh wow! Our first time to Ennis Lake and it was awesome! This camp ground was pristine. Clean, grounds very well maintained and quiet. Perfect for families! It has a boat launch and docks, which made it very easy for our family to get on and off the water. However it's shallow and tight launch area, so bring an experienced boater.
Had a good experience here. The views are just incredible. We stayed in the Grizzly cabin and It was spacious and clean with a nice, big porch facing the lake and mountains. Great hiking around the lake. Down the dirt road quite a ways but definitely worth the view. If you have time head up to the McAlister steakhouse for a yummy meal.
