Very peaceful place to camp! Waterside is the best. Great trails, ducks, fish, and fat squirrels! Site manager, Dave, is super nice and very personable!

Such a great place to visit. Some cool history here. The covered bridge will take you across the creek to a nice open park. Great place to hangout and feel the history. Awesome for photography as well.

This was my first time visiting Kymulga Grist Mill. It was a lovely outing. The mill itself is still functioning and very interesting. You can purchase stone ground flour, corn meal and grits milled right here. Beyond that, there is an old covered bridge leading into a park with lots of hiking trails to enjoy. By the way, these trails are very easy to hike making them accessible to everyone. I highly recommend this park for a very nice day trip.

Had a great Valentine’s Day here! We were greeted in the parking lot by Gracie, the sweetest pup and grounds keeper! She took us to check in and then took us on the trails. She stopped and had lunch with us! It was so peaceful there. We also were able to tour the mill and received a history lesson from the owner and he also showed us how the corn mill and grits are made. We learned that honey bees live in the mill walls and make sweet honey from the tulip poplars on the property. Can’t wait to go back and get a park membership. Highly recommend visiting here!! Also the bathrooms were the nicest I have ever seen at a place like this!!!!.

The park was basically open I guess. We dropped money in the box outside the store. The store was closed so the mill could not be viewed , the restrooms were locked and no one could be seen even though there were a couple of vehicles parked there. The campground looked nice from a distance. We were only there a few minutes and took some pics. We are doing a tour of covered bridges in Alabama. The whole park looked well kept and would probably be a nice place to visit when it is fully open.
