From jct Kenai Spur Rd & Hwy 1 (Sterling Hwy-Mile Post 94.2): Go 2 mi S on Hwy 1, then 1/4 mi E on Funny River Rd.
Wonderful friendly campground. Clean and affordable. We have met many lifelong friends at the Klondike. Seeing the mama moose with her twin babies wandering through the camp was a highlight. Thanks Al.
Great park, full hookups, clean bathrooms and laundry facilities. Right next to the road, so some complain about road noise. Not an issue for us and we were right next to the road. Just a sensitivity issue for some. Friendly and helpful staff/owners. Very close to the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge. Easy access to town.
This RV Park isn’t as cramped as others in Soldotna. There’s a fenced dog walk, we have a little patch of grass with a picnic table & shade. The showers are fabulous!
Klondike RV has cabins as well. Located right near the Kenai River, barely down the road from Centennial Park, close to restaurants and shopping, a couple of miles nearby is library and post office. This was the friendliest stay of my trip! The spaces are level gravel and there’s green grass, trees or planted greenery between spaces. Bathrooms and laundry room are very, very clean. Great recommendations for shipping fish home.
I was here a month and was sad that time had passed so quickly. I highly recommend this RV park for your stay.
