If I could give this place a million stars i would. I have been coming to the Ernest e. kennedy center for almost a year now. This place has completely changed my life, They have givin me the guidance and support that I so desperately needed. I came voluntarily and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made for myself and my sobriety. My counselor is Mrs. Tina and she has made such a positive impact on my life as well as other people there like Mr. mark and Mrs. Iwona. even the receptionist Mrs. keli and Jasmine have always been so welcoming and helpful. I honestly feel like this place is my home away home. I couldnt explain in words how greatful i am to have found this place. If you need help, feel like giving up, or even if your just tired of living the way you've been living this most certainly is the place for you.
This place is absolutely terrible. My son was put with a therapist that he was not comfortable with so I told them to please put him with another therapist because it was not comfortable with the one he was public. Spent two days with a therapist he Bonnick really mediately and then was told he had to go back to the therapist he was not comfortable with. He was talking and not have a choice. My son great loss of his life have used my mom and the therapist that he was not comfortable with was a man. I explain this to them and they still said that he does not have a choice that stay with the same therapist who is a mail but he did not feel comfortable with. My son will not be going back. Any Counselor knows that there is not a bond between the therapist and the patient or if the patient is not feel comfortable with the therapist they cannot help them and they will not be able to help them. Beware
This place has been heaven sent to me. I had to originally go because of probation, but I am off probation now and still thriving only because of my counselors. They have helped me maintain my bipolar disorder too. I love everyone that works there.If you need help with sobriety,they can definitely help you.
wish I could give 0 stars. My loved one was court ordered to attend out patient treatment in November 2022 and never went. Here we are July of 2023 and My family is still dealing with his psychosis on the daily and now mental health won't touch him because they are supposed to be treating him. I've reached out to the office multiple times and still no help. They can't do something as simple as notifying the courts. These guys are a great help! NOT!
Who else has been referred here and keep being told they're failing their drug tests but there's no way possible I'm failing! I take drug tests elsewhere and they're negative!!! But I can't get my kids back until I pass 3 consecutively!! Almost a year now and I have to keep starting over because every 3rd drug test I'm positive. The others are negative up until it's my last test!!!! So over this place!!! I just want my babies back!!! This isn't even the half of the story! Every appointment my counselor cancels my appt right before my appt time! It's insane that this place is even opened and referred by DSS! CORRUPTION AT ITS FINEST!!
