Went with a friend to look at 2 horses, we are bringing them both home with us. The owner is very sweet and loves her horses and other animals! I'll definitely be coming back next time I'm looking for a horse;)
After booking a campsite we were surprised when we arrived and were met with such chaos from the staff. The host was absent and we were very confused on how to check in. We honestly wanted to leave after arriving. As we had been told we could, we wanted to go on a tour to meet the animals but were told by the host that they did not want us to meet the animals. It was not the farm friendly experience we hoped we would have. I would not recommend camping here it was not the experience that was advertised.
Honestly had a pretty bad experience here. We booked for a night, but after the interaction with the family, we knew that costumers were not welcome or a priority. We showed up and were aggressively confronted by the daughter and her wife and told we could set up camp anywhere, until after setting up we were told we are in the wrong place. The bathrooms are not accessible and there was no guidance on where everything was. Not recommended. Treated as second class citizens.
My family and I were visiting from the city we looked for 3 different locations to ride for an hr we finally stopped at hope haven. Now unfortunately they don't offer horse riding but the owners were so amazing and kind they let my children walk around and meet some of the animals!. Super sweet we meet the cutest baby animal he was brown and loved attention and loveys lol kept cuddling it was freaking adorable! To the gentleman and his wife thank you I truly appreciate the tour. Your very kind.
Wonderful idealic farm with the sweetest animals and friendly family. I love the variety of goat cheeses, soaps, and raw goat milk products including the most delicious Cajeta! (A goat milk caramel.) Yummy yum! They have a Fall Festival in October for family and community fun!
