This place is awesome. I just happened upon it when looking to stay near Paonia Labor Day weekend, and they had one RV spot left. I was so glad I did because it’s close enough to all the West Elk wineries and orchards but it’s also a great base for visiting Crested Butte, Marble and Redstone. It’s a gorgeous location and beautifully maintained. Everyone who works there is great. And so many thoughtful things like hammocks, lounging chairs, horseshoes, etc. This is an absolutely perfect place for kids.
One note is that although they do have Wi-Fi, you’re not likely to have consistent access if you’re in the electric-only hookups further from the center of the resort. No cell reception there either. But worth it regardless!
The staff was very pleasant and helpful. They loaned us a couple of camp chairs to use around the campfire. They got us in to one of their last available spots. They also recommended a fun place for dinner call Big B's Orchard.
Great spot to get away for a few days! Everyone was amazing and made us feel like home. The amenities were great! Bathrooms, showers, general store had everything we needed that we may have forgotten. Tent sites were close but felt private next to the river.
This is a really nice campground to spend several days relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. It is quiet and close to several places to hike or fish. We were with a group. There was plenty of space to gather and visit. Please note that the kitchens in the smaller cabins do not have an oven. Not a deal breaker at all, just something to plan for when you are preparing meals. The cabins are comfortable and clean. The grocery and liquor store on site are a very nice amenity.
We spent eight nights in September at Kebler Corner and would go back anytime. The campground and facilities were clean and well maintained. Plus there is a nice short hike up to a meadow that was great for campers with dogs. We had a problem with our trailer and the owner Paul let me work on it at the camp and loaned some equipment I needed to do the job.
