From I-70 (East Topeka Tnpk exit): Go 1/2 mi SE on 21st St, then 1-1/2 mi S on Croco Rd, then 1/2 mi W on East Edge Rd.
Stopped here for the night while traveling through. The entire campground was well maintained. We opted for the lakeside site with 30 amp hookup and it was only $24/night. Very clean restroom/ shower house. A great playground. Spots had fire ring/picnic table. Level spots. Nicely kept grounds and walking/bike trails. Plenty of trees along the waters edge perfect for hammocks. It was very quiet and we felt safe the entire time. Would definitely recommend.
I would stay year round if I could. I love being at the lake from April 1st to Halloween! Saw a wedding last year! Most everyone follows quiet hours but some of us like to party!
Nice little campground. New areas for pull throughs and contained sewer hookups created this past summer. Friendly staff. We stayed in the older less expensive gravel area with was fine. Wish there was working Wi-Fi—this the 4 star rating.
Clean and quiet campground. They are updating a lot of the sites. Restrooms/showers were okay, but need a good scrubbing with a brush or repainted. The gravel sites to the west have a nice view of the lake. Very friendly employees.
