I learned of this place years ago and have had it on my list ever since, but the telephone reservation system was painful and I gave up after a few years of trying. That is until they moved to an online reservation system, which was a huge step in the right direction. I was able to reserve two nights although they were not consecutive nights due to my narrow travel window and drawn out reservation process which was also delayed a year due to a global pandemic.

Everything about this experience felt so old-school and authentic. If you have a chance to experience it you will see what I mean. I don't even know where to start. Loved it! Highly recommend it!

Well maintained, beautiful views of La Plata mountains, Ute Mountain, Blue Mountains in Utah and the Montezuma Valley.

We really enjoyed our stay and will be booking another night next year!

This is a once in a life time experience. Plan to go as if you are camping and bring your supplies. The views are incredible! Don't forget to watch the hummingbirds! It is 70 steps to the top and you are at 9960 feet so plan accordingly. We absolutely loved the experience.
