Nice, clean park with lots of rest rooms, a water spout, an ice machine, basketball, tennis, and more. Great job on this park.

Despite the drizzling weather, it was a great weekend. The campground itself was great! We will definitely be back. Easy access, swimming pond, tree house, jungle gym, and a fun spider web. The shower house was great! Very clean.

This is a gem of a campground! It is a well-kept county park with beautiful on-going prairie restoration. It is on the Cedar River for canoeists, kayakers and fishing. The playground consists of a huge treehouse, hilly little bike paths, smoothed climbing logs, not a plastic playground piece to be found. Wonderful for the imagination! But, if you must have traditional equipment the city park, .5 miles away, has fantastic traditional equipment. The cap to the whole park is the man-made swimming pond with sandy bottom, waterfalls, etc. Perfect for all ages and all swimming abilities. The only negative I have is there are not many shady sites. There have been plenty of trees planted but those darn trees just take so long to grow! We booked in May for the last weekend of July not realizing that it was Staceyville's Brat Daze. What a bonus! We have a 38' DP.

Looks like a new RV camping spot or maybe it was refurbished recently. Fresh gravel mid May when we were there. I think there was 4 other RV spots being used. So it was mostly empty. There was a cool kids bicycle track and new bathroom building that had a free library inside. Motion lights in the bathroom and fresh paint. Very cool birds under the bridge nearby and lots of other birds in the area. No idea if river has good fishing or not. We only used the electric hookups and that was good. We didn't use sewage and water at all. We stayed one night heading across the states. I think there was a drop box to put money and it got picked up every night by a county vehicle, but I didn't get a chance to chat with them about the place. Pets must be on leash at all times said the sign. Visitors to your campsite must leave before 10:30pm. 14 day stay max. Fire pits were clean.
