Convenience is the key to this place, super close to base! Rates are low, and service is great. The owner, Ricky, is one of those guys that will help with most anything you need. I looked around and settled on Ideal for pricing and talking to other residents. No complaints and would highly recommend to a friend.
You can tell that whoever only put 1 star and didn't leave a actual review is probably the owner of one of the other RV parks.
Ideal RV park really is Ideal. Its not a 5-star resort. But its not intended to be. The rates are the lowest in the area. Ricky the owner is the nicest guy! He helps with anything he can, loans tools, and really will do anything to make your stay a pleasant experience. For long term stays you get a mailbox of your own. The laundry at the park is inexpensive, and even has bathrooms and showers! I lived at the park for just shy of 2 years while working on base, and you can't beat the commute!! For denizens that cannot stand the sound of the train. I have lived at 2 of the 4 RV parks that are very near the train tracks. While you can hear the train horn, it is muffled at Ricky's, the other one I lived at was louder, and the two that are right next to the train tracks I imagine are very loud!
This place doesn't serve short term stays. It should have that posted on their site.
Very nice place to live. Owners are very flexible and helpful. They have been fixing the place up since they bought it last year, and it has been getting nicer and nicer with all their hard work. Quiet and very near base with reasonable rates. It is far from the main road and the train (horn) and has a lot of trees with big lots, making it different that the other locations in Clovis. I would recommend to anyone wanting to be out of the middle of town or near the base.
Great clean park with full hook ups. Really nice Landry mat on site and the management is amazing. It's right out side Cannon AFB Gate and they have long term and short term spots.
