Valle Tio Vinces Campground is a partially developed campground on the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail. Although there is no water available it is still a nice resting spot for hikers and bike riders. There are also horse corrals for equestrians looking for a place to camp.
From Quemado go east on US 60 for approximately 9 miles to one mile east of Omega and the brown Valle Tio Vinces sign. Turn south on Forest Road 214 towards Mangas and Valle Tio Vinces. Go south about 22 miles and the campground is on the west side of the road and marked by a sign
The campground and area is a beautiful site, well maintained. The public corrals are well placed relative to campsites, but would benefit from rock removal. I would ask how the water supply is managed. Overall excellent.
Really neat campground. Beautiful country and trees all around it. There are 4 large horses stalls set up for keeping your horses in, picnic tables and grills. Restrooms on site.
Neat and clean and just a really beautiful and clean area!
Beautiful, secluded, smells fantastic. We didn't camp but came on a day trip to check it out.
There are vault toilets, public use coralls for horses and several camp sites with plenty of room for vehicles and travel trailers.
Coming from the north or south are both on gravel roads that were in good condition when we came through. We definitely plan to camp here a few nights when we are back in the area.
great camping area has about 5 spots with tables and fire rings vault toilet and public corrals for horse campers. No Water No Trash Cans great Verizon 4 G cell Service
We enjoyed our stay. Very little traffic and no other campers when we were there.
