About Campground

The town of Stanley is very close, visitors can take an afternoon to visit the fascinating Stanley Museum, which reveals the rich history of the area. Nice campground. Our campsite did not have any trees so during the day it was hard to escape the heat and sun.

Good off the road camping spot. Restrooms were always clean and the area is in really good shape. Will visit again.

Great primative camp site right on the river, which in August when we were there was gently flowing and only a couple feet deep, perfect for an afternoon dip/ wade. Even with the 3 year old, it felt nice and safe. I would recommend water shoes. The rocks are smooth and slippery in the water. The only thing I didnt love was how close to the road many of the sites were.

Great place to camp, close to the water for easy access to fish and plenty of trails to hike.
