Three words : Hot. Springs. Waterfall.
Glad we explored the whole area and didn't just jump in the first pool we saw. Walk along the river to find more pools.
Visited this spring for the first time. Winter months the campground is closed so it makes it a bit of a challenge to get to. You literally have to climb down the side of the mountain! Not kid friendly if you get to it this way. Only saw two other people there. We went on a Tuesday mid day. The climb is about half a mile. The upper spots are hot hot! It Cool as it gets lower. The photo is halfway down to the springs.
Pretty much worthless if you go on a Saturday. Very small pools and a ton of people. And it was quite a hike in. Don’t get me wrong, it’s beautiful up here but not what I was looking for in a hot spring.
Love these hot springs, my favorite time to go is when it’s cold out. Be careful in the winter months as it’s very slick and icy. Make sure you venture around (carefully) to scope out your favorite pool.
Awesome place, unfortunately gets littered a lot and ruins the beauty of it. People need to make sure they clean up after themselves when coming here. The place is slowly falling apart with mud slides and fills up with a lot of people for a few pools with people. 7/10 experience every time I come. The pools at the top are very hot and the pools at the bottom are too like warm. You have to walk 15-20 min to get here.
