Best vault toilets we've ever used. There are only two toilets, but each offers lots of room to move around, fragrance scented, and always clean. The online check in was a nice feature. You can do an easy float of the river right from camp. No shuttle needed. Very relaxing. Our favorite part of staying here were the camp host's pet geese and ducks. Very tame and friendly. The shade trees in each campsite were very nice.

A very clean and comfortable campground. Camp hosts were THE best! Loved being able to buy ice at the site. Bathrooms were immaculate! Will be visiting again!

The river was right by the campground. It was so fun just to jump in and float down. It was a very nice campground. Dog friendly, keep them on a leash, though. The bathroom is a lot better than most. I wish there was one more. Every camp ground has a picnic table. Very nice overall.

An excellent and beautifully maintained campground. I like that it quietly sits just right outside the town of Lava. There is lots of grassy area at every campsite for the kids and fur babies to run around and play. The camp host’s Jeff and Penny are super friendly. Our family has enjoyed coming to this campground for the past 2 years and this will always be our favorite in Lava Hot Springs.

Great spot in town, beautiful campground right on the river. We stayed in a giant group site that was away from everyone else, so super private and a great atmosphere! There were a lot of bugs, but that's anywhere by a river, bring bug spray. There is also a loud train that rolls through the camp during the night, but after the first night, I didn't care too much. If you are a light sleeper, bring some ear plugs. Beautiful dark skies at night, I would stay again.
