Great place to go camp and fish. We went Labor Day weekend, and the motorbikes, 4 wheelers, and vehicles were going more than 15 mph and creating dust. Camp hosts only showed up to collect fees. Didn't see them stop anybody about speeding. Rained on and off. It's still a nice place to go.
Wonderful campground. The camp host Doug, was very helpful and pleasant to work with. Close to the water. Fishing was good as well. Facilities were clean. There was construction underway in another camp area near by which was a bit of a bummer. We where there during the week and had to deal with the trucks driving around kicking up dirt and the sounds of road work. Once it was the weekend, it was nice a quite though. We will be back!!
We had the whole campground to ourselves! Fishing was fun, bathrooms were impeccable, so many interesting birds and tons of different squirrels. The camping spots are really nice, clean, nice. Can't wait to go back in a few weeks.
Camp grounds were closed for the season but still had plenty of places to fish. We did pretty good, caught our limit. Kind of sad to see all the private property signs going up, I guess thats progress.
