Situated in open, tall timber, this campground is popular for family camping, in that it is near a fishing and swimming pond (Five Mile Pond), has a creek flowing by the site, and has easy access to Crooked River. Fire rings with camp sites grace the campground.
From State Highway 14, turn south on Crooked River Road #233 and travel approximately 10.5 miles to the campground on the right.
Got ghost, Thai, habanero, cayenne, scotch bonnet, Caribbean hot, gonna need more pots and make a second run. They have species I've never heard of.
I have been shopping 5 Mile Nursery for 4 years now. They have a great selection, plus a bonus Jamie is willing to order plants I am looking for to plant. I appreciate this quality of customer service.
My favorite spring day is spent at Five Mile Farm! They have an excellent selection of plants that will thrive in our area, always in beautiful, healthy and strong condition. I love finding specialty perennials here that can't be found at big box stores!
This was the last week before closing for the year. A lovely older lady, who is the founder, helped us out. So knowledgeable,of course! Found many of the plants I wanted. Will go back earlier in the spring next year to get a better selection.
The one place where you actually get your money's worth, not only in the quality and variety of plants, but the helpful people! My goodness! This is the true caliber of family run business! And yes, the prices are very reasonable! Love this place! I'd be in big trouble if it was open year-round!
