Very nice owner, she's very involved with her camp ground. Checks up on her renters making sure everything is good with them or if they need anything

From Experience Myself I do (NOT) recommend Hookers & Hunters nor the campground Etc. Hookers & Hunters is a bait shop 4 Fishing & others they also own the campground behind it. I do NOT recommend renting from the woman at all she is 100% petty & had to be pathetic. My mother at the time was sick fading away little by little & needed her oxygen tank. This woman had the audacity to cut off the electricity to my sickly mothers camper because she was a week behind on her electricity bill. Need I remind you my mother was sick & disabled she had a fixed income that came once a month & Sunni knew that. Sunni is the woman's name. Not to mention my son stayed with my mother that night to watch over her & be with her. My mother is now deceased may she rest in peace. There are so many complaints against Sunni part owner of the campground. She is so nosy. And even when we went to visit our mother Sunni was always up there telling us we was not allowed to see Our Sick dying mother. Bad part is we wasn't allowed to see our mother But Sunni allows people to sell drugs in & out of her Campground. Then calls the laws when she allows it to happen in the first place. I do NOT recommend this place at all. Instead of giving her one star if it was possible I wouldn't have gave her any at all. Her nor the bait shop or the awful rundown Campground her & her husband runs. Never met the husband but with her attitude I don't see how he does it.

The staff is friendly enough and the rent is cheap and pets are accepted but that is about the only "perks" of this place.

Currently renting for a month ($350+electric) because this was the only place that had availability and accepted pets but after tonight we'll be finding another place. Neighbor across from us had a gun with a scope and tried to shoot our cat that ran out. There is no hunting ground on this TVA campground.

Then one of the neighbors tells us he's just a junkie to pay him no mind. They also charge .16 per kilowatt hour while the electric company only charges .09-.10 per kilowatt hour. It's illegal to resell electricity at a higher price in the state of Tennessee but the AEC (Appalachian Electric Cooperative) isn't concerned about them violating their regulations. They charged us $60.90 more than the electric company would have. They read the meters to get their individual prices. Not to mention that we've been having to drink lake water because they refuse to fix the water issues 😒 🙃

Lot rent is $275 per month, also the camp is in an excellent location. However, that's not all. Electric is charged at 16 cents per kilowatt; the actual electric company currently only charges 12 cents per kilowatt. Water and sewer are included in the lot rent, however instead of properly insulated hookups the water is turned off randomly for hours, sometimes days. There is one dumpster for 40plus lots. Additionally there is a lot of in and out traffic, mostly after dark.
