We were passing through from Medora to Glacier National Park. The original plan was to park overnight at Walmart, but we spotted this campground as we drove by after 9 pm. Called, and the owner said that they do have one available spot.
All sites are pull through, they are spacious, long and well maintained. We didn't even have to disconnect truck from our 25ft trailer.
Price was great, owner super friendly and I recommend you stay at this campground if you pass by !
VERIFY DIRECTIONS WITH OWNERS. Your Garmin GPS will take you miles past and beyond the town. The people are very accommodating and interesting. No showers, bathrooms or laundry but as the owners say - A PERFECT spot to stay overnight when on your way to Glacier State Park.
They do have ducks, goats and chickens that you can feed for a few dollars. Also have donkeys and peacocks. We saw antelope in the hills.
We stayed here for 2 months while my husband was on a job, and had a wonderful experience. The owners are on site and WONDERFUL people. The campground was peaceful, clean and welcoming. The rv spots are all pull though and large, not only in length but width, we never felt crowded by neighbors.
We stopped on our way to Montana from Minnesota, nice grounds, beautiful area. Yes, it's by the road but we didn't notice any noise. The animals are fun for the kids - my 17 year old is now begging for chickens!
Very nice hosts.
We liked it so much we stayed on the return trip as well.
Paul and Mandy are amazing people. They are so friendly and helpful. Our spot is great. We have seen some wild life here and the views are to die for. I hate that we have to leave but will always keep the Hansen family in our hearts!!
