Seemed pretty clean. The sheets looked fresh. Gym had cleaning wipes and had pretty good options for a decent workout. Rooms in the main hotel are really small but ok. No free breakfast but restaurant. Easy walk to restaurants, etc. Thin walls but not a lot of noisy guests.
There aren't a lot of choices in Glasgow but this is the best one. We weren't sure what we would get but we were very happy with our stay. I don't want to buzz market other chains but we usually stay in $130-170 hotels when we travel. The Cottonwood was much cheaper for the same value (except for no free breakfast.) We stayed in the B wing and the room was a little tight for our family of 3 but it worked fine. We got oatmeal from the nearby grocery store and used hot water from the lobby to make breakfast most mornings. The pool was never overcrowded but usually had other kids there for our son to play with. The constant noise from the AC unit was great for sleeping. We will happily stay here again next time we are in the area. Note that if you are a disc golfer, there is a fun course less than half a mile away.
My family and I met for brunch today, and were a large group from kids to adults. Our server was outstanding!!! He did an excellent job and was even a great sport and took our picture. I'm sorry I didn't catch his name but he deserves to be commended. Thank you, again, sir!!!
Good rooms. Unfortunately nobody in our room got any sleep till 4am. Party next door was extremely loud. Tried to call front desk with no answer. Told the front desk about it when checked out and they said was "sorry that happened, here's your bill" $145 for a room we couldn't sleep in. Won't be staying there again!!!
Had a very pleasant stay. The rooms were exceptionally clean, beds were comfortable and the rooms were quiet. Even with a wrestling tournament in town and a lot of kids in the hallways, the noise in the rooms were minimal. The on-site restaurant served an enjoyable meal. The reason for the 4-star location was the view from the window was directly into an implement dealership and we stared at the back end of a combine. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay and I would highly recommend the Cottonwood if you find yourself staying in Glasgow.
