Hadleys Point was the perfect campground for exploring Acadia and Bar Harbor! The check in process was extremely smooth and there’s tons of staff on site to help you if needed. There’s a beach about .4 miles down the road with BEAUTIFUL sunsets (but extremely buggy) the tent sites are close together but everyone is respectful of noise and it was very calm and quiet. I felt extremely safe and welcomed here. The showers were cold but everything was still very clean! The little store on site was convenient as well. Can’t recommend them enough!
Pretty nice campground. Convenient to Acadia national park and Bar Harbor. Lots of photo ops nearby. Campsite was about 12" out of level from back to front of our 32' motorhome. The showers near us were old and didn't have adequate hot water. They do have a newer bathhouse up from our area that we didn't try.
I have been coming to Hadley since I was a little girl. I have decided to start the tradition back up and come up once a year with my family and camp. I love the campground and the location. However trying to book with them is a little frustrating. I tried to call all day yesterday and all day today 1/2-1/3/24 it would ring for a good 2 minutes and go to their voicemail. So I hung up and called again almost immediately and it went straight to voicemail like someone was on the phone. How can we make reservations if we can’t get thru.
We were looking for a last minute camp site to stay at and the people we spoke to were amazing. We did everything over the phone and online and our reservation was secured in minutes.
This location is great. It's about a 15 min drive from Acadia National Park and there's some great little food places around.
The campsite they held for us had some privacy due to the trees that separated the different tent camp sites. The bathrooms and showers were super clean and easily accessible.
We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Great value and location!
