Welcome to Grey Cliffs Ranch, 5,200 acres and an 8,000 square-foot lodge near the Madison River. Here you can enjoy your own private Montana ranch vacation and a recreational getaway with some of the best fly fishing in the Greater Yellowstone region.
Grey Cliffs Ranch is located 35 miles from downtown Bozeman, Montana and 30 miles from Bozeman’s Gallatin Field Airport (BZN). We provide an airport shuttle for an additional fee, and most guests rent cars for easy access to off-ranch sites and activities.
My husband and I had our destination wedding at Grey Cliffs Ranch this past August and it could not have been more perfect. Chris and his team were beyond amazing and were incredibly helpful. Chris worked directly with me and my wedding planner and always made sure to keep us both in the loop on any changes. The grounds and lodge were stunning. My husband and I stayed the night in the lodge for our wedding night; our room was beautiful. The team had breakfast ready for us the next morning and and food was delicious.

We just hosted my wife's 60th birthday gathering over 3 days at Grey Cliffs Ranch...what a great place! Feeding and watering 18 guests from all over the country over the 3 days, dealing with a group of experienced travelers, while remaining friendly, personable, and upbeat, the lodge people (staff seems too impersonal) were simply wonderful, and worked together like the proverbial well-oiled machine! Top-notchfood and drink, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, and a great time in very, very comfortable and beautiful surroundings...I couldn't recommend it more highly!
The location of the ranch is perfect - extremely picturesque surrounded by stunning grassy wild landscape, nearby river and abundant wildlife. Staff are so friendly and welcoming, the food is absolutely delicious (and they thought carefully about fabulous vegetarian options for us) and we felt really looked after during our stay. With thanks to Chris, Kalen, Kendra and Kenzie and all the other lovely guests we met when we we there for an unforgettable experience.
I found this amazing place last minute for my husband's birthday. It was superb, one of our most favorite places in Montana! They do a locals special which is so generous! The food was top notch for both breakfast and dinner! The lodge is heaven as are the views of the tobacco root mountains and so much more! It was simply magical! 💘
