The trail head is stunning. However the road getting there is rather rough. You will need a vehicle with high clearance. Thus why I can only give it 4 stars.

Awesome trail a little challenging I suggest doing Grays first than Torreys

Road is bumpy if you are in a 2 wheel or low clearance car move over when a high clearance car is behind you it helps keep the road from getting too many cars in a row 🤓 the road is narrow

This was my second 14er in 2020 and I did volunteer for cfi to make the trail better by carrying the wood logs uphill. On my first visit I did complete both grays and torreys in one stretch and it felt super simple (I was fit). I would totally recommend to anyone who want to give a shot. 4 wheel drive is mandatory unless u want to hike few extra mes.
