About Campground

With a s’more in your hand and a brand new friend at your side, you might not remember all the things that inspired you to visit Flying Flags in the first place. Like the fact that it’s surrounded by miles and miles of lush, Central Coast vineyards. Or the fact that it’s just down the road from an outrageously charming ostrich refuge. Or the fact that it’s on the edge of the village of Buellton—the home of split pea soup. Because when you’re at Flying Flags, you’ll see that these grounds create a village in themselves.

Here, poolside cabanas keep families cool late into the afternoon. And expertly groomed bocce courts host brackets late into the evening. Front porches foster interactions between neighbors. And fire pits tend to spark a few stories among them too. Sure, the beauty of this place is more than enough to inspire you to come for a vacation. But the beauty of our community is what just might inspire you to come back.

We usually love coming here. This past Labor Day it was crazy and couldn't even walk without a kid almost hitting us or my dog on their bikes. The pools were beyond packed and the spas were a bit cloudy. It's time for another pool! Love the pizza oven, live entertainment and BBQ night! We had some ants at our spot and they came right over and took care of it.

Just spent two nights here.

Smooth and friendly check in, meticulously maintained grounds, and an excellent location for exploring everything Santa Ynez has to offer.

Close to Pismo and Santa Barbara for day trips. Wish our stay was two weeks instead!

We came to Flying Flags my husband and I for a Wedding at a Winery near by. So happy we did this place is awesome. From checking in and during our time here the staff was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. The campground is very clean. Their restaurant has a huge firepit in their patio we ate while listening to a band play on the first night. This place is really family oriented and dog friendly. Come down bring your family & friends you won't be disappointed. We will definitely come back with our family

Great surprise. 1st RV park experience. The whole operation ran very smooth. This was a great choice for a newbie. Whoever planned this park thought about the details. Staff was friendly and made check in easy and smooth. Food and ambiance were great. Bathrooms were clean. Pools and dog park were very nice. Gym was fantastic. The entire park was very clean, well maintained. Cute town to explore. Will definitely stay again.
