Has a nice trail to go for a walk on or even a jog. There is another trail but not for young ones and it looks like an off trail but it's actually not. I've more stuck to the main trail myself. There's an area on trail where sometimes there r animals out there but everytime I go I never see them.

One of my favorite trails to visit in northeast Iowa! Pet-friendly, beautiful views, and lots of wildlife. Well-groomed trail that is perfect for all skill levels. A few different off-shoots of trails as well that make it great for those who want a little more incline. They also have a small petting zoo in the middle of the trail. Great for kids and adults alike! Also good for walking in the winter time.

This place was beautiful! The trails are so nice. We took the scenic Backbone trail, and it was fantastic. The trails and surrounding areas are pretty clean -- not much trash. There was a Pavillion type set up on the land that was pretty clean with a fireplace and several picnic tables. It would be great for a family gathering. Near the Pavillion I found a potential arrowhead as well, which was exciting! We will definitely be back to hike more and do some trout fishing soon!
