Cool and unexpected spot. Very scenic drive in through the canyon. And the trail is not to be missed

An oasis in the Mojave with surface-running water set amidst water-cut hills and gullies. Further along you can see multicolored stone and tilted rock layers.

Very beautiful. Very beautiful gift shop. If you are into Crystals and rocks this is the perfect gift shop. Do not go in heat of the day unless you want to see how hot it get out there i China Ranch California... it get really hot. You have to go in cool months or very early in the morning to beat the heat. It was worth it ..... very beautiful place and people

This is a great Network of trails to discover the Amargosa River in the Mojave desert. Prepare for a real desert adventure with proper clothing and water to stay hydrated. You can buy great date products, including milkshakes at the China Ranch Bakery. Plan to spend a minimum of two hours doing the simple loop. Hiking all the way out to discover the falls is a worthwhile add on.

From a Desert Oasis, a quiet stream trickles along a trail through the thick growth of old forest, to where it ends through the reads to a gentle slope to stand upon the hills amidst the the mountains, those tree tops now at your feet. China Ranch.
