Great hospitality. Greeted us at 2130, guided us to our camp and brought us dry wood the second night. Very friendly people. We definitely will stay here again. Thank you!
Camped here in tents for an early season trip. My friend and I have nothing but great things to say. The view of the river is just gorgeous! The owners and workers here are so sweet and have gone out if their way to make us feel comfortable. The bathroom was always clean and we really enjoyed our time here. The owner's dogs were also so sweet. We saw some deers walking through the campsite too. Would definitely stay again!!
Nice spot to camp for a few nights. Many open sites with full hook-ups. Close to town. Didn't notice any long-term RVs there. Internet was sketchy, at best.
Unfortunately we had very bad experience staying on this campground. We’ve booked one night online and when arrived couldn’t reach anybody, tried sending emails, calls, texts - nothing. We had no idea where is our spot, there was no office there, a “kiosk” shown on the card didn’t exist. There were so many buildings that were private and didn’t belong to the campground, we were totally confused. It was the first time that we paid $70 for a campground and there was literally nobody to assist us and completely no service. And still, after a week no text or call back, nor answer to my email. It’s a pity, because it’s a beautiful location, but with service like this we won’t stay there again.
We stayed for 5 nights. Only saw staff a couple of times, but they were responsive by phone when needed, so no problem with that. Spaces were adequate for our needs. Nothing fancy, kinda bare bones parked on gravel, but it was very convenient to where we needed to go, it was comfortable, and it was quiet in the evening (after the fireworks of course, this WAS July 4th week after all!). Shower small but usually available, river access for fishing right on the property, nice grassy open space area in the middle. No problems at all. We would definitely use them again on our next trip to Dubois!
