About Campground

It is our pleasure to welcome you to Crooked Creek Guest Ranch! Named after the nearby meandering stream, Crooked Creek Guest Ranch is perched at 8,400 feet in the Wind River Mountain Range along the continental divide. Just steps out the front door you will be overwhelmed by the sheer beauty of the surrounding wilderness. The entrance to the Shoshone National Forest is just minutes from the property and there is so much fun to be had exploring the trails whether on snowmobile, ATV, horseback or on foot.

Our facilities boast seventeen magnificent hand-hewn one and two story log cabins, and 14 RV sites with 30/50 amp electrical hook ups as well as water hookups. Our impressive main lodge provides a warm escape with good company. The lodge features our very own restaurant and bar, which are open seasonally to both guests and non-guests where we also sell package beer and liquor. We have a small general store that has everyday essentials as well as souvenirs and other merchandise. There is a heated garage on site that can be used free of charge if needed.

We loved our one night stay at Crooked Creek! Authentic, charming individual log cabins, very well appointed, complete with comfortable beds and great wifi. The restaurant was excellent and much appreciated after a long travel day. Friendly staff, highly recommend!!

I didn't stay overnight at one of their cabins. I was up there delivering a huge propane tank and supplies while my bosses were doing all the setup stuff. The restaurant that night with a wonderful steak, potatoe, and salad wasa delight. Had a good time with the owner too visiting with him and I would recommend checking them out. Does their best to make sure everything goes smoothly and I love the outdoors and the trees up there anyway.

Amazing place to stay. We stayed here while cycling the great divide mountainbike route ( it is on the route) and absolute worth it. Lovely cabin with great bed, shower etc, all very clean and nicely decorated. Food in the restaurant is really great. Fresh veggies and just quality food really worth riding the eventual extra mile for. Lots of variations on the menu as well ( vegetarian options!)so especially for fellow cyclists who are tired and can use a decent meal. This is the place to go. Best food we ate in weeks! And to top it off: very friendly staff. 100% recommend! We planned to stay one night but ended up staying three. Plan your rest day here and you will be very happy! Sit on the terrace, enjoy the view!

We made a quick stop on our way home for Christmas. We arrived later and were provided great information on cabin location, food and drinks. We had delicious prime rib for dinner, fried mushrooms (even a one year old devoured them) and conversation with amazing local people. We will be back with more family in tote.

Absolutely great place, the cabins are amazing and you can park your sled right out front. The fuel on sight is priced great and the food is awesome at the lodge. Good service, great drinks. Plan on returning again next season!
