This place was beautiful and everything I dreamed of for my wedding. Unfortunately two days before my wedding, my fiancé and I contracted Covid. We had to cancel. We called beforehand and gave up our reservation. This company’s policy was unforgiving. We had to eat the $800 dollars we paid for this spot. There was no offer of some refund or a possibly another day or spot. They don’t give refunds for “ Personal problems.” Unlike the rest of world they have no empathy for Covid. I’m so devastated for not only our loss but now we don’t have the money to rebook wedding.

Attended a wedding there. It was beautiful. Only 4 stars because whoever rented the camp ground prior to our family didn’t clean up after themselves and no one from park services cleaned up either.

Nice place for a group picnic, with lots of tables, elevated, roomy dutch oven platform.

Tent grounds consist of an open, sloped meadow that's surrounded on three sides with Aspen and pine trees. A few -worthy sites. Watch out for the thistle in the wooded areas.

Come here in the winter if you want some pretty views of the snowy mountains. The drive up isn’t bad at all either - lots of pretty sites to see. You might even spot some wild turkeys!
