Our campground is located at the East end of Custer SD. Our property features French creek which has a couple of wide pools. The rest of the creek is fairly narrow with slow-moving water. Lots of water fowl frequent the area as well as deer in the evening. Kids will have a great time exploring the lower acreage. We plan to add new features & amenities to the park every year. We love being near so many scenic spots in South Dakota. We are looking forward to hearing about your adventures during your stay.
We are located on the East end of Custer SD, just off Hwy 16A onto Washington St. You will need to go over the paved Custer Spur trail and pull down the dirt driveway to access the camp ground.
A very nice easy going RV park in the making, expect great hospitality and workability with the mom & pop ownership that live onsite!
Convenient to everything Custer & Custer State Park related. 5 stars ✨
Large back in sites, strong wifi and clean accommodations, and quiet! Located just outside the town of Custer. Enjoyed our 2 day stay.
Dan and Megan (and Duke) were the best , nicest people you could meet. When we got there they actually did have a site open that had 30A power available and allowed us to use it even though it wasn't promised initially. Only bathroom were portajohns but they get cleaned thoroughly daily. We stayed 4 days.
Campground is close to Mt Rushmore and Crazy horse, was about 1.5/hr into Sturgis but that was ok with us.
Had a really good experience and will be back if we visit SD again. Much recommended if you only need dry camping.
Thanks guys!!
Affordable, friendly dry camping. My son and I stayed for the summer. Good wifi. Wifi works for conference calls. Paved city walking trail system just off the property. It's a half mile to town. Stayed parked in camp and walked to town for the carnival. This camp has a front row seat to the city's 4th of July fireworks show. Duke, the dog, is the unofficial welcoming committee. Woke up to periodic hot air ballons overhead. Deer, geese, and coyotes visit nearby. Custer State Park with larger wildlife up the road. About 44 min to Rapid City. If you just need a safe place to park for the night, this is the place. Photos a mix of the camp and views from the walking trail. The owners are very down-to-earth, and I would definitely stay here again.
