Spend your evenings in quiet bliss under the stars. Listen to the tranquil sounds of the babbling waters of Isaac's Creek. Just minutes from the Current River boat launch, Float Camp, and Mark Twain National Forest. Glampsite is complete with 14x16 safari tent , BBQ grill, mini fridge, toaster oven, Keurig, table settings for 4, firepit, cafe lights, outhouse with composting toilet, and camping shower (in the colder months the water in the shower bag will freeze so it may not be available). A perfect space for your family to unplug (or plug in! ha!), explore, and get away on the Current River.
Our site is so peaceful on Isaac's Creek. Our property is located in a valley at the base of a towering hill. The view is spectacular and the sounds of nature leave you wanting to stay and soak it all in.
Less than a mile away is Float Camp (open seasonally) on the Current River. A bustling attraction in the summer for guests to wade in the river and/or float down the Current into downtown Doniphan! Shuttles, tubes, kayaks, and canoes are available through neighboring outfitters.
Less than a mile away is Deer Leap at Mark Twain National Forest where you can access a boat launch. Please contact us if you plan to bring a boat and need more parking space.

My aunt said she bought into Deer Run, so her family has a guaranteed spot. Apparently this company used to be bad back in the day, but they’ve taken on accountability and upped security and standards. I didn’t interact with any staff myself, but the environment was great!!
The water was so clear and clean! The beach we set up camp at was clean, and people cleaned up after themselves. It was a nice place to spend an afternoon with the fam during a summer day.
We originally booked Friday through following Saturday…. Needless to say we are leaving early!! Bathrooms are disgusting! Party central on the weekends! NO staff or accommodating during week! We wanted to float during week with less people on the river… they told us to go into town and find someone else to do it! They offer pump out services… NOPE no staff they made a seasonal guy do it!! Our water was shut off mid week with No warning… NO staff to help had to hunt someone down!! They offered us a credited for the 2 days we left early 🤦🏼♀️
I honestly gave it 3 because I see potential in this camp ground. It could be absolutely gorgeous if they'd spruce it up a bit. Like at least clean up the bank and make it more swim accessible. Plant some nice plants. Clean up the driveway a bit. The price to stay, is a little much to behold for what it is.
Nice little campsite. And friendly and helpful staff. We needed them in the middle of the night. And they took care of our issue.
This is a wonderful family set atmosphere the pricing is moderate and space for campers, RVs, and tents. There as well is cabin rentals at this facility tube and raft rentals and a private pond that can be fished at by customers. It is dog friendly with picnic area and restrooms. If you have pets they are allowed to travel freely as long as they are not aggressive and there is also security for the premises. There is also a boat ramp with water access to Current River. It is for only customer and private use.
