The Colter Bay Tent Village at Colter Bay Village is set amidst towering lodgepole pines just a short, picturesque stroll away from Jackson Lake. The Tent Village includes 66 tent cabins, and is open from mid-May to early-September. As with all campgrounds in the park, the Colter Bay Tent Village is very popular and tends to fill up quickly. Visitors are strongly encouraged to plan and book early.
Decent beds and very good tent. Nights were raining but this tent was able to holdup without a drop inside. We had light inside and a place to heat. Outdoor grill, bearproof storage and bench to sit. Sockets were available inside restrooms.
Great camping experience. although old, but very cozy place. there is everything you need - even hot water in the restroom and at the dishwashing station. No electricity in the tent
We stayed at the Colter Bay tent cabins. It was perfect! Not fancy. Just bunks, a wood burnign stove and an outside table and a fire ring and grill. Bathrooms were close by and clean. If you are on a budget but want a few amenities this is perfect. Staff in office was very helpful as well. Thanks to Michael and his crew! We will be back!
We took a last minute trip to the Tetons and Yellowstone. This was a really great place! Bathrooms, showers and a really nice General store. The tents were clean, had lighting, a fire pit and picnic table. We had 4 beds (2 bunk type) and there was room for a few cots on the floor if needed. It rained a lot while we were there and it was perfect! Really convenient location. We're planning to stay here again.
