We traveled miles and miles and only saw black cows. Finally, some Buffalo. We really enjoyed this amazing experience to feed the Buffalo. Where can you go and get this close to these gentle but dangerous/huge animals. The little train ride to the field and a bit of history telling on the way was enjoyable. The beautiful Peacocks perched. We came on Christmas Eve and this place has alot more to offer in peak season. We enjoyed the delicious Bison buffet that was offered. This was a memory maker! Thanks!

I was visiting my Mom in Denver and thought this would be a good day trip. It was on a weekday, & cold, but the staff were all pleasant and welcoming. The gift shop was nice, had good souvenirs and snacks. The bathrooms were clean.

The train ride was cold and breezy. But, it was all forgotten when we reached the Buffaloes. It was both intimidating and wonderful to see, feed and touch them! Just don't touch their horns! We already have friends interested in visiting after we shared our experience.

We drove up from Denver to spend the day here. It was absolutely worth it. We truly enjoyed the train ride. Caleb gave us a ton of interesting information about the ranch and the history. Feeding the boom was our favorite part. We spent a ton of time off the train as well checking out all of the animals. There are picnic tables and a gazebo to have lunch if needed and plenty of room for littles to run. We visited both playgrounds which were awesome!! We had a group of ten from ages 1-62 and everyone loved it. We will definitely be back.

Always a great experience to take the kids for a train ride to feed the bison. We live in Cheyenne, and whenever we have visitors to the area, we take them to Terry Bison for lunch and a train ride.

Though the old adage of "do not pet the fluffy cow" remains true even here, you are able to get so much closer to bison than in any other setting, and in a safe environment. It's a great opportunity to show kids (and see for yourselves) the majesty of the American bison.

Definitely recommend those coming through or staying in Cheyenne take a few hours to head down to the Terry Bison Ranch and check things out.

In all honesty, I didn't want to go back after we had a poor experience over the summer. However, we knew they were transitioning management and ownership, so we decided to visit again. What a difference! The bar staff was friendly and attentive. The Wyoming Downs staff was fun, attentive, and down to earth. I was genuinely surprised at how quickly this place turned around.
