Worst kept campground! The laundry room was decent, but only half machines were working! Sites were so close, dog park was grown up, trash was running over, and you literally did not want to venture out of your trailer!
If I could give this KOA a zero I would. We stopped in to check availability for a one night stay on 9/14 at 12:30 pm. The female desk clerk on duty was not welcoming, was unhelpful and very rude. It was very clear she did not want our business. Based on how we were treated we cannot recommend this KOA. Don’t even bother stopping. It was our worst experience ever at any campground. If I owned this KOA I would fire this employee immediately.
We got caught with the time zone change, when we called to cancel one night we mentioned that issue ans was told, no problem. we arrive 65 min early and they charged us 5 dollars.
No Cable as advertised, keep your website up to date. change in ownership the excuse. tripping hazard outside the rv, wire and rubber tubing to trip on, cig butts all over the site. the plus was a pretty level site. We will not be back. stayed at 6-7 koa's on this trip. this is the worst, so far!
If I could give this KOA zero stars I would. We stayed here two weeks and wish we didn’t. First off the WiFi is absolutely horrible not even worth connecting to. Our children do online school and we had to use our own hotspot to even load a video for school. Next if you have a dog I would not recommend their dog park. It is not maintained at all, it is covered in dog poop. There is a better one beside the park but it does have a sign not maintained by KOA, which is probably why it is a better dog park. Don’t even think about trying to use the dog wash station during this time of the year. We were told that they shut the water off during colder weather to prevent pipes freezing which I understand, but the ladies in the office/store also told me I would just need to make an appointment to use it and they would be happy to turn the water on. So I did, but apparently the manager got mad about this and came all the way to our campsite to let me know, in a rude tone that it is to inconvenient for them to turn the water on for me to use the dog wash station but they would this time. So why even tell a customer that they will just need an appointment and it would not be a problem? Completely unprofessional of her. Also we had multiple dead rabbits under the little patio area they have there. I’m not sure if they put out poison and the rabbits are eating it ?? Horrible really. The washer and dryers were a hit or miss. Most of the time there they did not work. And to top it all off the showers are loaded with parasites! My children were traumatized! I brought this to their attention, showed them the pictures attached and they did nothing about it. I wish I would have gotten more pictures to show all of it. So pretty much all the “amenities” they have are not even worth it. If you are looking to stay in Limon, Co I suggest you find another RV park. We left as soon as we found the parasite, I couldn’t handle anything else from this place. This one is very disappointing.
