From Higden, AR, take Hwy 16 east 2 miles, then take Hwy 92 west 1 mile then north 2 miles on Mill Creek Road. Follow signs.
There is a fishing area a nice big huge boat launch no swimming is allowed by the boat launch is very pretty
I only give it a 4-star rating because there is no electrical hookups. Other than that it is out of the way and quiet. Great primitive campgrounds. But it is not free. It's $16 per day. Online reservations only.
Love this place! It's so pretty. No power no water, other than the lake, just the great outdoors.
This was once one of my favorite camp sites because it was free, there is no power or water. There is a composting restroom and their used to be swimming access, now there is no swimming and it costs to camp
