Did some wilderness camping at Porcupine Lake about two miles off trail on the east side of the lake. Great Northern and Ice Age trails lead through this area, so there are some nice established campsites that are easy to hike to for beginner backpackers. I’ll definitely be back to try other areas of the forest, probably yet this summer.

Very scenic and a great place to find peace and tranquility. An awesome and fun fishing spot with plentiful bass at Canthook Lake. Made lots of new friends and repaired part of my soul.
