I grew up close to Redlodge and have very special memories in the Beartooths Had a chance to take my kids there from Michigan when they were younger and will go back with my grandchildren when I retire. Magical, mystical place.

Just drove through this saturday. We camped at bear tooth lake campground. River runs by camping area with mule deer n whitetail deer around. The drive was spectacular. We camped in glacier nat. Park just days b4 and I like this as much or more. Roads seem safe with metal guard rails for people whom may get spooked. At top at 10,947 with your vehicle is awesome. Still trying to figure out the ski lift at top. Looked to be at top with sheer drop off. Groomer was there also. Must be some brave skiers.😉

Spent a month hiking in the Bear Tooth Mountains when I was in high school. It’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen and can’t wait to get the chance to go back there… Beautiful pristine alpine lakes atop wildflower covered mountain peaks lay hidden along the hiking trails. An incredible place to go on vacation!

Does it get any better than this? One of my favorite places to visit on earth. Whether you want to hike and enjoy the views, try your hand at fly fishing on one of the many lakes and streams, or just setup a hammock and take it all in... you can do that here.
