Caribou Creek is a nice spot Let the Dogs Out if you have them when traveling the Glenn highway and take a short walk, or a longer one if you would prefer and take a gold pan and a shovel and test a few sites as there is gold in the area. Raspberrie bushes are also in the area and mid August is time to start looking for the berries. Area also has moose and large brown bears in the area so watch while out.
Spent hours here wandering the creek and enjoying the mountain scenery. Found some very cool rocks and also you can hold pan.
Nice hike/walk. No widlife but saw moose tracks and dog tracks. The river was nice. Great view.
