From jct US 76/Hwy 515: Go 8 mi N on US 76/Hwy 515, then 10 ft W on Bates Rd, then immediate right N 500 feet on Cherry Log St, then 3/4 mi E on Rock Creek Road, then 1 mi S on Little Rock Creek Rd (gravel road).
Very cozy cabin in PEACEFUL forest setting. Can only see 1 neighbor, at an angle, tucked down the hill a ways. Great hot tub on a really nice, deep front porch! Sat out there during thunderstorms and it was marvelous. Only drawback was washer is a SMALL single unit that does BOTH washing and drying in same drum. It takes forever, and we had a 15 day stay, which meant laundry.
The street is one lane, I think it is a little difficult to drive and have to be aware of every movement because it is one lane but it is very natural, a lot of green vegetation and animals like deer, turkeys
We loved the cabin we stayed at, Water's Edge. It had a scenic drive up to the gorgeous cabin. Nice sized garage for our vehicle, and firewood was under cover in the garage which was nice.
The cabin itself was warm and cozy, it was very clean and had almost everything you'd need for a multi day stay on vacation (towels, dish soap, utensils, pots and pans, grill and propane, washing machine with soap, vacuum, brooms, towels, etc).
We were only 10 minutes away from downtown blue ridge and 15 minutes away from Mercier Orchards (which I highly recommend). Nice and close to everything, and we can't wait to come back one day!
I’ve already stayed at this cabin and loved it while it was in was getting upgraded. I already loved it as it was, so I can’t wait for my next stay coming up on February 14, now that it has been upgraded Jacuzzi here I come! I’ll update once I have something to say about our stay.
