Very clean campsite. Well taken care of. You may have to sweep your site due to rock or pebbles if you do not have a pad to lay under your tent. Most sites have a fire ring or a bbq stand for cooking. Limited parking per site if you go with a large group. The trails are moderately difficult to hike. The area was patrolled by park rangers 2 times via a vehicle during my stay. We heard what sounded like gunshots several times throughout the night. We didn't know if that was done by the ranger or a fellow camper for scaring off a predator. Overall a great place to create memories with friends and family.
Such a beautiful drive , however becareful in winter with snow melting can cause black ice .
Gorgeous snowy day. The road up is fairly narrow and winding; more than a couple of people had minor accidents, so be careful and cautious as you drive up. The snowy winter time is just as nice as the cool summer hikes. All seasons here are wonderful.
