Great place to watch the races. Camping is great too! But bring your own T/P, cause the bathrooms are out by the afternoon. NO paper towels either! Showers are awesome ! Nice & warm👍
I booked this campsite at $60/per night purely for fire pits and an electrical hookup only to get my confirmation and it tell me that all fires need to be extinguished at 10pm. Nothing informed before hand so my s’mores and I will be travelling else where next time.
Liked how the guard was there to welcome all the men who drive into the camp. Told us the laws and where to camp and how to be fire safe. Windy! There was a barracks with shower where I got up early in the foggy California morning and hosed myself off. At night ate beans, rice, couscous, mustard, onion. Good! We were right outside the car race track! Vrooooom. Roovoooormmmm! Vrooooom! No cars last night but still good. Seen Fast and Furious the movies? Young folks next to us was neat like them with fast cars and they built a safe fire. Green horns tent down yonder flipped in the wind. Woke up and left. Good!
1 bathroom stall was out of TP all morning, indicating the staff was not paying attention. The shower head i used was just dribbling and needs to be replaced. Again Indicating the staff was not attentive. The hot water became scalding after several resets. A dangerous condition. The park was clean but the campsite lots can be hit or miss as to whether or not they are comfortable for more than a day.
Womans showers drizzle out.
I hit the button 12 times & still not warm. Tried all of the showers with no luck.
Laundry rooms would be nice for the price. Nevertheless the view & track experience was worth doing without this time. Lol We actually loved our stay. Thank you for finding & fixing the issue.
