Very nice park with lots of mature trees. Little interesting getting to our site, as we arrived after dark in a 39' class A towing a jeep, since the park is dark and the roads are narrow but that is our fault. Made for a beautiful, quiet night under the stars by the fire to relax. Hiking trails nearby, accessible from the campground, with plenty to do in this very large park. We only stayed one night on our way to FL, but hope to return and explore the area more. The young lady in the office was very friendly as well!

Great place. They are currently rebuilding due to a tornado hit, but it looks like it will be even better than before.

I've been going there since I was a child. I've recently come back from Florida after 18 year's & I see "the airplane park" is now "the tank park" 😂😂 if you know, you know 👍

Can't wait to see it again ❤

Grew up in NLR and this was the go to place when I was a kid, though then it was all metal slides and the amusement park still had that wicked painted horror house. That art really stuck in my head lol. Tons of park trails and fishing spots. Really sad to see what the tornado did to the place but hopefully it is made better than before.

Large urban park, big enough you feel like you're in the country. Alot of family oriented things to do. Hiking, baseball, soccer fields, boat launch, and younger kids-- swings, slides, and picnic areas. Nice and Clean
