This camp is set up well, great level sites, and picnic tables and fire pits at every site. FANTASTIC stars and quiet. Very isolated, but the road wasn't too bad to get out here. It is one of he best primitive campsites I've stayed at! Will use it again whenever I get the opportunity.
Well designed and maintained campground for both RVs and tents. Fee to camp; reservations can be made online at the American Prairie Reserve website. Bison walk through camp. Good driving access to the APR, CM Russell Refuge and Missouri River.
Very clean campground, great quality camping sites, that are taken care of often.
Isolated, quiet, and full of birdsong. Hiking and birdwatching trails nearby. Don't try to get here (or leave here) after a heavy rain; the roads become impassable.
