5/10. A Tyrannosaurus ate my entire family, but I did get to see a Tyrannosaurus so, not all bad.

4 stars because of shower services. Bathrooms are kept but there is a $1 fee per shower. Not a horrible thing because people abuse their length of showers, but the coin machine was never working to provide one with quarters to use to operate the showers and the office never seemed to be open.

High note: loved loved loved the fish cleaning station. Grounder and water to clean your catch. Much appreciated!

Overall a fun 5 days but its a boaters world not much for shore fishing too many weeds.

This place is beautiful and refreshing. We barely saw any people around when we visited but saw a herd of deer. It was something to remember by. You can see a beautiful sunset if you go there during evening. The lake and surrounding park is mesmerizing.

Great & affordable camping at a beautiful location! Beware the rough road to get there, though. Signal minimal, but wifi at the office.

Notes:

There are electric sites, but they do not have water or sewer hookups. Inconvenient, but there are dump stations & water faucets available to fill up with.

Sites are spacious! You can bring all the toys, and have plenty of room.

Hunting access areas nearby, check local regulations, of course, and valid licenses are necessary.

The playground is nice, and the kids enjoyed it, nothing extremely special about it.

There is one decent bathroom available with a few stalls & showers. The shower is not free - it costs $1 per shower, which isn't fantastic, but they're trying to conserve water, which is understandable.

Staff are extremely nice & helpful - make sure to ask them if you need anything!

Some trees, but not a ton. Shade can be an issue at many of the sites!

The big one - the road. It's a long way in here 24 miles from Jordan, MT, on a rough, winding road. Washboard is common & will shake you and your rig bad! If you don't want to deal with the 1 hour or more drive, this is probably not for you.

I will come back again, but only for a trip of 3-4+ days, because the road really beats you up.
