One of our favorite spots! So shaddy and very relaxing! From the trails to tanning on the river bank, we love it there. Great price as well!
It was a place to stop for a couple of nights. Very quiet. No pool. No playground. Very basic.
It was okay. I'd have liked to have seen more playground things but it's definitely a nice enough little park and campground.
We recently traveled thru your fine city and had the pleasure of staying in the Brookside City Campground. We found ourselves stranded alone the side of the road and the Manager Mr. Robert was our Night in Shinning Armor. The park is clean, well kept and a very beautiful place. Thank You seams so small for all the peace this place afforded us. I highly recommend it as a place to rest and relax.
We've lived in this campground for almost 2 years now while traveling for work and it has been very safe not terrible or what people make it out to be. We have enjoyed making this our temporary home, it is kid & pet friendly. We love how our Brookside Police officers come through and patrol the neighborhood on a regular basis to make sure we are always safe. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to camp, play at the creek or kayak at five mile creek. Also has a playground and nice walking track. Very peaceful....
