Nice campsite my only complaint is it's a little too close to the road
Great quick primitive camping area right off the road. Road truck traffic is a little noisy in the early morning.
Very pretty free campsites. Picnic tables and fire rings, no cell service.
A great place for primitive camping while your out deer hunting in the Bankhead forest
Perfect beautiful temperature and weather. Coyotes got very close to camp, and it made us anxious. Also, my son picked up ticks while we were there. There were also chiggers and tons of spiders. Beautiful fireflies that lot up the forest at night. We treated all of our gear with permitherin. We are going to pretreat our clothing next time too. Deet is your friend in these woods.
