This campground is a bare bones park. You are placed on different levels of dirt. But for a Passport America fee of $22.50 a night you also receive 50 amp service, water and sewer. The main thing to staying here is to be totally self contained. They have restrooms and showers available. You need to get a tetanus shot and some antibiotics to use them. The woman's restroom had one toilet stall, no toilet paper, no seat covers and a badly stained toilet bowl. The showers of which there a two, were small stalls and I wouldn't use them. They had laundry facilities, but after looking at the restrooms I did not bother to look at them. It is a inexpensive place to stay if like us it is to be only used as a place to sleep in your own rig.

I made a reservation over 5 months before and was to stay 2 days, with the time zone change we were running a little late, we would arrive about 5:10, I called and let them know, no problem until we arrived, we could not find an office or person to talk to, I called again and got the owner who tells us he does not keep an office there and we should take ** along the fence, well that spot already had someone in and so did the next one he said . A renter who was doing her laundry was helpful on helping us figure where we would park but we then decided to call and see if KOA had any openings ( we saw there sign on the way in) They did and we went there but the Blue RV Park looked shabby and after making a reservation that much ahead and be treated that way and told to park next to the fence which was like parking on the street. I called him and told him we left and were going elsewhere and if I could see him I am sure he shrugged. Also the flies were horrendous while in that park (more than normal) I know I would never attempt to ever stay there, even if it was free.

I was in Dodge City only to work. Blue RV Park is not ment for vacationers that are looking for updated amenities. But perfect NON Uptight people.

Blue RV Park, is very quiet, and clean. Has its own laundry mat, shower house, all very convenient for working 79+ hour a week. Definitely reasonable price. I will be back!!

Most of the park is dirt parking. Except six concrete lots in the entrance. They have water, sewage, and light. The grass is overgrown in some areas, and there's trash in most areas.

Hello everyone, if one day you plan to visit Dodge City, Kansa and you are looking for a place to stay, do not make the mistake of staying at Blue RV Park. It is something that you will regret forever. When I made my reservation, he asked me if I was coming to work or on vacation. I told him. I work at the ckoch plant that is located in Dodge City and I had plans to stay three months. He asked me about my job. I told him that I was a welder. The first month he charged me rent plus 120 for electricity, which was a bit high for me now. I normally pay 40 to 60 for electricity in my RV everywhere I stayed the second month they charged me 160 for electricity and well I didn't think so because it seemed extremely high but I didn't say anything the third month they charged me 260 for electricity and I told him that it was an abuse that not even in my house I paid that monthly amount that there had to be a mistake and he told me no that it was correct I told him that I had never paid for such a high amount and that it was an abuse, I left there and I was only there for 14 days in the last month and I sent him the pictures of the meter there was an expenditure of 244 kilowatts in 14 days, which for the previous month there would have been 790 kilowatts in 14 days if we do a calculation, I spent The previous month 57 kilowatts per day how strange that after I made my complaint they lowered the kilowatts to 18 kilowatts per day instead of 57 without me making any changes to my RV this leaves me with a very bad experience don't go there they scam you
