As we arrived, we were greeted immediately by Rick and Louse with a warm welcome! They gave us an option of the site I had reserved or due to weather cancellations, offered a few others that were now available. This gravel and grass campground lived up to it’s reputation, helpful and accommodating owners willing to assist at a moments notice! We settled in to the perfect spot! Enjoyed a peaceful, restful 6 day vacation!
Very welcoming! Rick is great guy to talk with as we drop Alex off to do the Appalachian Trail. We are simple down to earth people and so was it there. We are at our next destination and sorry we didn’t stay there for another week instead of here. Will miss it .
This is a very basic camp ground with hook ups available. The proximity to Blue Ridge is great but it doesn't offer lots of services. Neither is it a very polished site. Incline for some of the lower spots is very steep and you can easily lose traction. However, $35/night, peak season is a very fair price. The owner is very friendly and flexible with needs.
Easy to find RV park close to downtown Blue Ridge, and the Mineral Springs Walking Trail. No pool, no idea about laundry or restrooms, and some of the spots are a bit steep to get to...but we love our spot, Rick, the owner, was really nice and then left us alone while inviting us to ask him any question, and it is very central to all the mountain town life. He gave us a free night because the easier to access spots were unable to get water, and that alone tells me he cares about this place. Nothing fancy, but then again, neither are we. :)
Horrible people that are corrupt. There is no STAFF. Whomever is replying to reviews is lying. Owners will smile and be friendly when collecting money. But otherwise you can't reach them. I think Louise has her extended family writing the few decent reviews you see here.
